Dinner with Myself

Lately, I've been pondering a thought, almost like a mental exercise. So, if you'll bear with me, imagine this scenario: You're having dinner with three versions of yourself. How would that unfold? What topics would arise, and what would the atmosphere be like?

For me, if I were dining with myself thrice over, I'd skip the small talk and the pretense often associated with social gatherings. You know, the elaborate wine-tasting rituals, the food photoshoots, the awkward jokes—everyone has their list. Instead, I envision a dinner characterized by authenticity and depth, cutting through the usual fluff and wasted time.

I value genuine connections, where both parties can let their guard down and truly see each other. No need for facades or manufactured personas. I'd want to discuss how I'm truly doing, emotionally, spiritually, and in my relationship with Jesus. It's about seeking comfort and offering it in return.

This thought experiment serves as a gentle reminder of my priorities and values. It helps me reaffirm who I am and what deserves my time and attention, steering clear of distractions and superficiality.
